How it works

The details, start to finish.

How it works

Four steps. We handle the rest.

You give us the basics once. Everything after that is our job.

  1. Enter your info

Your name, email and phone. That is what we need to start looking.

  2. We scan

We search data brokers and people search sites for listings that match you.

  3. We remove and follow up

We file opt outs for you, check that each listing actually came down, follow up when sites stall, and file again if a listing comes back.

  4. You see results

See what we found and what we filed. Your monthly digest tracks every removal, follow up and relisting.

Before and after

From for sale to gone.

This is what a typical people search profile puts in front of anyone who looks you up, and what it looks like once we are done.

Follow through

Filing once is not enough. So we do not stop there.

Sites stall, ignore requests, and add people back when they refresh their data. A single opt out rarely holds, so our work continues after the first request.

A one time opt out

  • Request sent once
  • No check that the listing came down
  • Stalled requests sit unanswered
  • Relistings go unnoticed

With Unfindable

  • Filed for you, site by site
  • Checked to confirm it is actually gone
  • Followed up and resubmitted when a site stalls
  • Rescanned on a schedule, filed again if it returns
  1. 01 · Submit

    We file your removals

We find your listings and submit opt out requests on your behalf, site by site.

  2. 02 · Verify

We check it is actually gone

A request received is not a listing removed. We go back and confirm the listing came down.

  3. 03 · Follow up

We follow up when sites stall

If a site goes quiet or does not act, we follow up and resubmit until the listing comes down.

  4. 04 · Check again

    We rescan and remove again

Scheduled rescans catch relistings, and we file the removal again each time one appears.

  5. 05 · Keep watching

    We keep watching

Rescans continue for as long as you are with us, and every action shows up in your monthly digest.

Removed is not forever. Brokers refresh their data and add people back over time. We keep rescanning and filing again for as long as you are with us.

Our promise is the process. We keep checking and requesting again until the listing is gone, or we tell you why it cannot be.

Data brokers and people search sites

Sites that compile and sell profiles with your name, phone, address history and relatives.

Social profiles

Old or forgotten public profiles tied to your name, phone number or email, plus guidance for locking down the accounts you keep.

Public records listings

Third party sites that republish records and make them searchable by name: address, property, reverse phone and email lookups.

We focus on the listings that show where you live, how to reach you, and who you are connected to. Timelines and outcomes vary by site. Some sources, such as official government records, cannot be deleted at the source.

Monthly digest

See exactly what we did.

Each month you get an email listing every removal we made, every follow up we sent, and every relisting we caught. The work happens in the background. The digest puts it on the record.

Example layout only. Your digest reflects your actual listings.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What does “we don’t file and forget” mean?

Sending an opt out request is only the first step. We check that the listing actually came down, follow up and resubmit when a site stalls or ignores the request, and rescan on a schedule. If a listing comes back, we file the removal again. If a listing cannot be removed, we tell you why.

How long until my listings come down?

We file your first removal requests within 24 hours of signup. After that, each site works at its own pace, so we cannot promise when a given listing will come down. What we can promise is that we follow up until it does.

Is there a free option?

Yes. The free scan gives you search links for all 19 sites, prefilled with your name, and the official opt out page for each one. No removals are included.

Can you remove everything about me?

No service can. Some sources, such as official government records, cannot be deleted at the source. We focus on the commercial sites that collect and publish your details, and we tell you what we filed and what came down.

Why do listings come back?

Brokers refresh their data from many sources and can add you back later. That is why we rescan on a schedule and file the removal again whenever a listing reappears.

How is Unfindable different from free opt outs, like California’s DROP?

Free options are worth using. You can opt out of any site yourself, and California residents can use DROP, the state’s free Delete Request and Opt‑out Platform, to send one deletion request to over 600 registered data brokers. Since August 1, 2026, registered brokers must check DROP at least once every 45 days, and the state says status updates can take up to 90 days (privacy.ca.gov/drop). Unfindable does the hands on part for the 19 people search and broker sites on our list: we find your actual listings, file the opt outs, check that each one came down, follow up when a site stalls, and rescan for relistings. You can use DROP and Unfindable together.

Do you sell or share my information?

We do not sell your data. We share your details with a site only as needed to request removal of your listing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What if I am not happy with the service?

Paid plans come with a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied in your first 30 days, you get a full refund, no questions asked.
